Join White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails in honoring Fête des Vignerons, a centuries-old Swiss wine celebration that only occurs every 20 years. The rare event is currently happening this year in the mountains of Switzerland, but White Oak and the Swiss Consulate are bringing the celebration to Atlanta with a reception featuring passed appetizers and unlimited tastings of Swiss wines imported specifically for this special occasion.
This isn't your average reception, as guests can sip their wine while soaking in some of the best sights and sounds of Swiss culture. Lucrezia Bieler will be doing a live demonstration of Découpage, the Swiss art of cutting paper into intricate, lace-like patterns. Samples of this delicate artform will be available for purchase at the event. Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Linus Wyrsch will be traveling to Atlanta to perform for reception attendees. Atlanta's Chef Tim Magee will be partnering with the visiting Chef Lukas Kaufmann to create authentic Swiss dishes.
Tickets for the reception are $35 and include passed appetizers and wine from the White Oak Barrel Bar. This reception is from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 25.
