Event Description

Athens Amphitheater Groundbreaking Drive-In Concert featuring Travis Tritt

Athens Amphitheater is proud to host a drive-in concert featuring Grammy award-winning country music artist Travis Tritt and his full band on Friday, September 25 to kick off the groundbreaking of the new Athens Amphitheater. Opening support acts will include a full band set by Ashley McBryde and a solo-acoustic set by Caylee Hammack. These artists will all be performing live and in person!

The show is sponsored by Budweiser Zero, an alcohol-free product full of real Budweiser taste, which allows drive-in attendees the ability to enjoy Budweiser’s flavor with zero compromise.

This unique concert event will allow attendees the opportunity to experience the first glimpse of what will be Athens’ new premier outdoor entertainment facility while also providing the community with a much-needed (but safe!) evening of live, high-quality entertainment.

Located at 200 Boley Drive, this event is taking place at the future home of Athens Amphitheater, conveniently located just 2 miles from downtown Athens. The 86-acre plot of land for the amphitheater is between Commerce Road and Boley Drive off exit 12 of the SR 10 Loop. Completion of the amphitheater is slated for Fall 2021.
