Open Minds Theatre Company presents local Atlanta playwright Hank Kimmel's work, Burning Powerful Women. This play puts women of various generations in the spotlight and tells a coming of age tale set in 1962. Whilst primarily a comedy in nature, this play also has a strong message about breaking free from the constraints of social norms. At the core, this piece showcases that the impenetrable bonds formed between women allow for a very unique kind of transcendence- one where every member walks away new, changed, and fulfilled.
