The Christmas Homes Tour is part of Downtown Enfield Restoration and Preservation’s annual Colonial Christmas.
Festivities begin Friday night, Nov 30, with the Tree Lightning in Town Square, 4:30pm. Santa will be there to join in the fun!
Saturday, Dec 1, artisans will set up in The Perkins Building, 9:00 am. The festivities include a Festival of Trees, crafts for the kids, Christmas music, Stew in the Street, 50/50 raffle, a book sale from a collection of William Mann, as well as the curated collection of local and North Carolina-made items at Southern Secrets at Mears.
The Homes Tour starts at 12:00 pm. We have 6 homes on tour: Gray Hall, Shell Castle, Bellamy Manor, Branch Grove, Glenburnie, and Connoconara Hall.
After the Homes Tour ends at 5:00 pm, there is an Evening Prayer Service at the Historic Church of the Advent, 5:30 pm.
Whitaker’s Chapel will hold its annual Christmas service at 3:00 pm on Sunday.
