Geoff Achison is an award-winning blues-roots artist from Australia known for his energetic live performances and unique guitar mastery. Geoff began his apprenticeship with legendary Australian bluesman 'Dutch' Tilders establishing himself as a fine lead guitarist before striking out with his own. He released his debut album in the early 90s and began touring throughout the USA, UK & Europe. Geoff's music has been compared favorably to major artists such as Eric Clapton, JJ Cale and the Allman Brothers Band having a solid foundation in the blues but also embracing a variety of music styles. His songwriting is original and thoughtful with a wry sense of humour reminiscent at times of Randy Newman, Dr John and Mose Allison. He has won awards for his guitar playing, songwriting and live performances and was honoured in 2011 as official Patron Of the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society.
TYPES OF TICKETS
There are no bad views of our stage at The Vista, even if you are standing! Often these are the best tickets if you want to be up close and personal with your favorite artist. Be aware that holders of Standing Room - Main Floor tickets have not purchased a seat and are not guaranteed a seat. This means that for sold out shows, holders of these tickets will likely be standing. If you want to assure the exclusivity and comfort of a reserved table at a show that is likely to sell out, we recommend purchasing a Reserved Table.
Don’t like standing or bumping elbows, or maybe you want to take the worry out of fighting traffic to be early to get a table? Exclusivity may be for you! Reserved Table tickets provide ticket holders the option to have a table saved for you. When the doors open to our venue, your reserved table will be waiting for you. Please note, Reserved Table tickets must be purchased in groups of 4 or 6, as there are 4 or 6 seats per table.
Food menu and full bar service available. Outside food and drink may not be brought into the Vista Room.
Please call us at 404-321-5000 for any questions before the show.
I bought 2 tables, can I get them together? Or can I put my table together with my friend's table?
Whenever we see names with 2 table purchases, we automatically put them together. If you have friends or family going to the show, let us know by emailing email@example.com and we will do our best to make sure you are near/by each other.
Can I choose or switch my table upon arrival?
In order to be fair, the tables are chosen in the order in which they were purchased from the front of the stage to the back of the room, so get your tables early! If you would prefer a table in the back, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you need a low table, we must know that ahead of time. Please email email@example.com if you need a low top or have any particular needs, and we will do our very best to meet them.
