Please join A Cappella Books at SCADshow Monday, November 18th, at 6:00 pm for an evening with Mike Rowe. We will be celebrating his new book, “The Way I Heard It.” This is a moderated Q&A, audience Q&A, and photo line event.
Executive producer and host Mike Rowe’s storytelling style highlights intimate behind-the-scenes moments drawn from his own remarkable life and career. His programs like “Dirty Jobs,” “Deadliest Catch,” “Somebody’s Gotta Do It,” and “Returning the Favor” provide a window into the lives of people whose work might otherwise go unnoticed.
The event will include a discussion of his new book, “The Way I Heard It,” which is a collection of 35 fascinating stories for curious minds with short attention spans. This delightful, personal account features memories from Mike’s life and career as well as mysteries and insights. Delivered with Mike’s blend of charm, wit, and ingenuity, this book is the perfect gift for fans and new readers alike.
Each ticket includes one pre-signed copy of the book and admission for one into the event. Your copy of the book will be presented to you as you enter the theater on November 18th.
Due to the large size of the anticipated audience, books will be pre-signed by the author in advance without personalization. However, ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet the author and get a professional photograph with him following audience Q&A. The author will not be able to sign books brought in from elsewhere as everything is pre-signed.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Seating is first come, first served. Please give yourself time to find a seat prior to the beginning of the presentation.
Tickets are non-refundable for this event. Should you miss the event, but still want your copy of the book, please contact A Cappella Books within 30 days to make arrangements for pick-up or shipping.
