Troup County Historical Society and Legacy Museum proudly present its fourth annual Halloween tours entitled Mystery in Our History: Ghostly Walking Tours. These tours are a part of Legacy Museum’s After Dark programming. The tours will include repeat stories such as the 1901 small pox epidemic in Troup County which eerily resemblances the current COVID-19 epidemic and new featured stories such as LaGrange College’s first female President Daisy Davies, Burnt Village, White House ghosts, and election stories.
Considerations have been made regarding the current public health pandemic. Masks will be required of everyone on the tours, actors and actresses will keep six feet between themselves and participants, and tours will begin outside and remain outside. Hand sanitation stations will be set up along the tour route. Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, bring a water bottle, and an umbrella if the weather calls for rain.
