Event Description

17th Annual Penn-Mar Irish Festival

The annual festival in southern York County features traditional and contemporary live Irish music and dancers from Pennsylvania and Maryland, along with special guests from farther away, plus Irish food, children’s activities, door prizes, and a wide variety of vendors offering Irish goods including gifts, clothing, jewelry, music, books, pottery, photography, stained glass, and more. Please visit our website for a list of vendors.

The Penn-Mar Irish Festival is supported in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

Crowd favorite Screaming Orphans will be returning in 2017.

Learning to Play Bagpipes, presented by members of Susquehanna Pipes & Drums
Introductory Irish Ceili, presented by Holly Lanteigne-Marrow
History and Meaning of Celtic Knots, presented by Sinead Moss

Our children's tent featuring games, crafts, face painting, caricature artist, and more is sponsored this year by Members 1st Federal Credit Union. Members 1st has recently opened a branch nearby and we are happy to have them involved in this communiity event.

Thanks to a partnership with Mid-Atlantic Sprint, we are able to accept credit cards at Admissions, Merchandise, and Beer Ticket Sales.
