Poncey-Highlands Fitness Month

A Poncey-Highlands Fitness Month Pass gives you access to the best fitness studios in the Poncey Highland neighborhood!

With this pass, you will be able to take one (1) class at each of the following studios between April 1, 2017 - April 30, 2017:  Core Power Yoga, Chaos Conditioning, Pure Barre (Virginia Highland) and Vesta Movement. 

To redeem your classes, please contact the studio directly. Walk-ins will be accepted, space permitting. You must bring a copy of your ticket with you when redeeming your class at each studio in order to verity that you are a Poncey-Highlands Fitness Month pass holder!

Core Power Yoga:
Location: 650 North Ave NE Suite 111 Atlanta, GA 30308
Parking: Parking available at Ponce City Market. Download the Park Mobile app. For a discount on parking (promotion code available at the front desk, zone 222)
Registering for Class: Simply show up 10-15 min early to secure your spot in class! Be sure to bring a copy of your ticket with you to verify that you are a Poncey-Highlands Fitness Month pass holder.

What to Bring: Workout clothes, bottle of water, mat, towel (we have towel, mat and water available for rent or purchase)
What to Expect: We have four different yoga formats at the studio. C1 is an introduction to power vinyasa (which means you flow breath to movement), C2 is an intermediate power vinyasa class (room temperature is 96-97 degrees with added humidity), Yoga Sculpt is power vinyasa plus weight training (room heated), Hot Power Fusion is a mixture of traditional hot yoga and power vinyassa (room is 100-103 degree with added humidity). We encourage everyone to drink plenty of water before class!

Chaos Conditioning 
Location: Chaos Conditioning is located inside the Forum Athletic Club in Ponce City Market.
Parking: 2 hours of free parking is available by downloading the ParkMobile App and entering the monthly promo code - simply call the studio at 404-590-5852 and we will provide you with the code.
Registering for Class: Simply email jeff@chaosconditioning.com to reserve a spot. Walk-ins are welcome (space permitting). Please bring a copy of your ticket with you to verify that you are a Poncey-Highlands Fitness Month pass holder. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class.

What to Bring: Nothing! Towels provided, showers and lockers available. Special MMA-style boxing gloves are also provided for our IMPACT class.
What to Expect: Chaos Conditioning is a challenging high intensity interval training program, but all fitness levels can truly be accommodated in every class. The high-energy music, motivating instructors, and creative use of a large variety of equipment (like non-motorized Woodway Curve treadmills, TRX suspension trainers, and punching bags) will have you enthusiastically coming back for more. Our goal is to make the class as fun and dynamic as possible without compromising the effectiveness. 

PURE BARRE (Virginia Highland)
Location: We are located at 1402 North Highland Avenue NE (next to Natural Body, in the Morningside Shopping center).
Parking: FREE parking is available in the Morningside Shopping center or in any of the surrounding lots. Limited street parking is available on North Highland Avenue and University Dr.

What to Bring to Class:  New clients, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled class time to allow for the best new client experience possible! We require all clients to wear socks in the studio for sanitary purposes and to ensure that your muscles stay warm throughout class. We encourage clients to wear leggings knee length or longer. All other equipment will be provided for you. We have sticky socks, towels, hair ties, snack bars and athleisure apparel available for purchase in the studio. Bottled water can be purchased for $1.00.
What to Expect: We currently have two class offerings on our schedule. Pure Barre is a 55 minute class incorporating isometric movements designed to kick your seat, tone your thighs, strengthen your core and sculpt your arms! While the flow of class is always the same, we are constantly changing the music and exercises to ensure you never experience the same class twice! Pure Barre Platform combines low impact cardio with quick bursts of high-intensity work to help you burn calories, jump start your metabolism and increase your overall endurance. This class is also 55 minutes and is the perfect cardio complement to Pure Barre!

VESTA Movement:
VESTA Movement is located off at 774 Ponce de Leon Ave, a block up from Ponce City Market. We are the blue building situated right in between Gusto and The Local, you can’t miss us!
Parking: Parking is available in the lot behind the building, with overflow available in The Local's parking lot.
Registering for Class: Please contact the studio at 404-281-1121 to reserve your spot in class. Don't forget to bring your Poncey-Highland Fitness Month ticket with you to the studio.

What to Bring to Class: New clients, pleae be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes before the class starts. We’ll have you fill out a waiver, give you a short tour, and get you all wrapped up and out on the mats! Gloves and wraps are complimentary for your first visit. Pricing for glove and wraps after your first class are listed below:

  • Glove and wrap rentals- $5
  • Revgear Kit- $50 (includes gloves, wraps, a jumprope, and a drawstring Revgear bag)
Bring a water bottle and a towel! We sell water bottles for $1 and have a water cooler to refill bottles, as well. For kickboxing classes, you will workout barefoot. For Strength Classes, you will need to wear tennis shoes.
What to Expect:  At VESTA, we offer high intensity kickboxing classes where you can expect to burn up to 1000 calories in this fast- paced, 60 minute session! Our kickboxing instructors set the tone for a high energy, ass kicking workout that challenges all muscle groups by incorporating both cardio and strength training moves.
