Event Description

Runnin' Down a Dream & Free Bird

DINNER AND DOORS 7:30PM

Runnin' Down a Dream reproduces all of the beloved Tom Petty classics and deep tracks with a focus on providing an energetic live experience while staying true to the original recordings. To recreate the sounds of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at their peak, the band exudes a keen sense of detail for precise vocal harmonies, spot-on guitar sounds, and performance.

Free Bird

"Turn it up!"

And with those words musical history was set in motion! FreeBird is the best Lynryd Skynyrd tribute - period. As a band FreeBird's members have been in love with the music since childhood, and they play these songs with the same passion and intensity of Lynryd Skynryd themselves. If you saw the original line up in the 1970s you will appreciate the accuracy, if you're just discovering the music for the first time, you'll be blown away by hit after hit of incredible music and amazing players. Vocalist Chris Howard masterfully catches the essence of Ronnie Van Zant’s vocals and stage persona, guiding the band and players through solos, song after song. Guitarists Matt Chenoweth (Ed King/Steve Gains), Tim McGovern (Allen Collins) and Bailey Townshend (Gary Rossington) play their roles with such explosive energy and skill you'd think you were at a show in the 1970s. Russell Ingram on drums and Eric “Frizzy” Caldwell on bass nail down the groove and power of Artimus Pyle and Leon Wilkes’ rhythm section, while keyboardist Asher McKinney gracefully adds in Billy Powell's keyboards for a full and amazing rendition of one of the greatest bands that ever recorded and toured. FreeBird brings all the magic of the music to life in a way seldom heard by any tribute act. Get ready for a full helping of Southern Fried Rock N Roll by the best Skynyrd tribute band around - Fly High FreeBird Nation!

TYPES OF TICKETS

GENERAL ADMISSION

There are no bad views of our stage at The Vista, even if you are standing!  Often these are the best tickets if you want to be up close and personal with your favorite artist.  Be aware that holders of Standing Room -  Main Floor tickets have not purchased a seat and are not guaranteed a seat. This means that for sold-out shows, holders of these tickets will likely be standing. If you want to assure the exclusivity and comfort of a reserved table at a show that is likely to sell out, we recommend purchasing a Reserved Table.   Any reserved tables not purchased will be available for General Admission on a first-come-first-served basis.

RESERVED TABLES

Don’t like standing or bumping elbows, or maybe you want to take the worry out of fighting traffic to be early to get a table? Exclusivity may be for you! Reserved Table tickets provide ticket holders the option to have a table saved for you. When the doors open to our venue, your reserved table will be waiting for you. Please note, Reserved Table tickets must be purchased in groups of 4 or 6, as there are 4 or 6 seats per table.
