Event Description

Russ Still & The Moonshiners w/sp. guest Wyatt Edmondson

....original tunes with catchy lyrics and fresh arrangements.

In an industry that currently thrives on auto-tune, drum machines and pop templates, Russ Still and the Moonshiners brings some light and authenticity to the radio waves. The six‐piece outfit meshing country, country rock and classic rock formed their roots in Atlanta, Georgia are triggering the interests of listeners tailored to staples such as the west coast country rock sounds of the 70's, Southern Rock, new country rock and outlaw country. There’s something here for everyone.

Russ Still has been playing in bands for 45 years (that’s either too long or not long enough – he says not nearly long enough). His passion and hard work are evidenced by his 7 releases in the past 12 years. 4 solo projects and 3 with his band of top‐notch musicians, The Moonshiners.

His dedication to his craft is clear in his studio work, but his thirst for performance and audience engagement are best witnessed in his live shows. It's not just about the music. It's also about connection. His country twangs, his story telling is captivating and he rocks, hard. He brings that special something – in the studio and on the stage ‐ that can only be delivered with years of experience.

With special Guest: Wyatt Edmondson:
Sonically Nashville. Soulfully Alabama. There’s an exciting new voice in musical storytelling.

Wyatt Edmondson is Folk Rock/Americana artist from Montgomery, Alabama. The 25-year old moved to Nashville in 2017 and is currently working on his first self-titled EP while touring across the United States.

When it comes to Wyatt Edmondson, it all begins with his story. Growing up in a quiet neighborhood in Alabama, Wyatt Edmondson was raised in an artistic family. With a father and grandfather both active in music, Wyatt found a love for the guitar at an early age.

At fifteen, Wyatt learned of his diagnosis of an eye condition that causes progressive blindness in millions of people around the world. It was at that moment that Wyatt decided turn to music and pursue a career in performance and songwriting.

The music itself is a reflection of Wyatt's journey into what we all know as the great road of life. The songs are written from a place of compassion and yet frustration and the burning desire to become something greater. Wyatt's music is written to be an honest attempt to give us what we all need, a look in the mirror.

Wyatt Edmondson released two demo projects, Higher Ground and Lovers Lake while attending Troy University. This year will bring the debut of his self-titled EP recorded in Nashville, TN. Wyatt is currently touring the United States to connect with new fans and explore America's landscape. It's no doubt his shows are fun, exciting, passionate and purely Wyatt Edmondson.
