Event Description

Secret City Festival 2019

The Secret City Festival celebrates Oak Ridge's rich history, as well as showcasing its many advancements in technology and science. This two-day festival offers several children's activities, historical exhibits, arts & crafts (handmade/homemade) vendors, food trucks, a juried arts show, technology village, library talks, a multitude of various exhilirating performers on the Pavilion Stage, bus tours, all of which are completely free. Friday and Saturday evenings, the Main Stage will showcase paid concerts with opening acts and headline bands, all of whom are nationally acclaimed.

Q. When is the Secret City Festival?
A. The 2019 Festival will take place on Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8 from 10am to 11pm daily.

Q. Is there a cost to enter the festival or any of its events and exhibits?
A. No, there is not a cost to enter the festival. All events and exhibits are free except the headline concerts. The headline concerts require ticket purchase.

Q. What time do the Headline Concerts start?
A. Doors open at 6:00pm, Concert starts at 7:00pm on Friday and Saturday.

Q. Where do I park?
A. Premium Parking is available at the Oak Ridge High School parking lot.  The cost is $5 per car and all proceeds go to the Oak Ridge High School Student Council. Free parking is available at the Main Street Oak Ridge lot (where the mall was previously located).  This is just a short walk to the festival grounds and Complimentary Shuttles will be available to transport people to and from the Main Street lot.

Q. Can I bring my dog to the festival?
A. Non-agressive dogs are welcome at the festival, however, you MUST abide by city regulations and pick up after your pet.  NO ANIMALS (unless they are registered service animals) will be allowed at the concerts.
