Event Description

Singing Bowl Class Weekend Intensive Training

This training is for health and wellness practitioners and professionals, therapists, energy and Reiki healers, spa owners, and anyone who wants to learn how to play crystal singing and Himalayan bowls for personal or professional use.

Students will learn the foundational principles of sound, play a variety of instruments, learn the anatomy of a sound bath for personal or group use, and develop the confidence necessary to begin administering vibrational sound experiences.

"GabrielNelson created a space for learning and playfulness that catered to my inner kid. I entered the training expecting to learn only techniques. I learned technique but also developed a connectedness with the singing bowls themselves." - Shwanna L., Atlanta, GA

This class is focused on Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, chimes, bells, and ocean drums. Most of the training is hands-on practice along with mindfulness and meditation techniques.

Students will facilitate a one-hour group sound meditation for the public in the afternoon on the last day of class. This provides students with a unique opportunity to use newly learned skills in an actual sound meditation.

Friends and family are invited to attend the sound meditation. There will be a FaceBook event created for students to share. It will also be posted in the Gabriel of the Light Meetup group, newsletter, website and Instagram account. The sound meditation is free. Any love offerings received will benefit Unity Atlanta Church in gratitude for hosting the training and meditation.

"GabrielNelson's classes are well planned with important information and concepts as well as hands-on experiences. He is a gifted, caring, supportive teacher and practitioner." -  Michelle O, Atlanta, GA
