Consisting of front man, Ian Taylor (vocals, guitar, piano), London
Taylor (bass, backing vocals, synth), Grant Godbee (guitar) and Brice Crites (drums),
this group of guys continues to press forward in pursuit of their passion: music. Ian
states the band's drive: “In a world full of uncertainty and hopelessness, we want to
show people a greater hope to believe in. We want to make a difference in people’s
lives by encouraging them to never give up and to make each day count.”
The Colour Negative emerged in August of 2014 and released their first full-length,
self-titled album, produced and recorded exclusively at Crankcase Studios by Ian
Taylor. As seasoned performers, the band has played at Celebrate Freedom, Atlanta
Fest, Ichthus Festival, The Peach Drop, The Mall of Georgia Summer Concert Series,
Velvet Underground, The Vinyl, Terminal West, Rocketown, and at numerous
venues across the Southeast.
The album consists of upbeat songs such as "Resistant Heart" and "Colouring Book"
that spark uncontainable energy in the heart of the listener, while soulful ballads
like "Slow Down" inspire contemplation. The Colour Negative masterfully
intertwines elements of photography and film (which inspired the band's name:

Victoria Canal is a Spanish-American, 17-year-old singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She is known for her intimate and poignant voice, intelligent lyrics, and consistently soulful delivery in her performances. Though only a young adult, Victoria has lived and performed all around the world, in places including Munich, Shanghai, Tokyo, Dubai, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, and more to share her music and story.
Victoria has been passionate about music since her grandmother, a piano teacher and organist, first introduced her to the piano at 5 years of age. She then discovered songwriting at the age of eleven, and has since continued to pen compositions and lyrics sophisticated beyond her years.
That passion led her to seek out any opportunity she could to perform. She has since then had the privilege to receive two full scholarships for the Berklee School of Music Five-Week performance programs, and to be chosen as one of 6 singer-songwriters to become a Young Arts National Finalist. Victoria has also performed in such iconic venues as the Apollo Theater, the Troxy Theatre, the BPC, the Red Room, and more. In 2014, she was the winner of the Eddie’s Attic Bi-Annual Singer/Songwriter Shootout in Atlanta. Just in 2015, she has raised over 5,000 meals-worth of food through SERV International with her popularly recognized Open Mic Tour through the east coast.
Currently, Victoria is finishing up recording an EP in Atlanta, of which two singles have already been quietly released to the public – Little Girl, a gut-wrenching anthem addressing human trafficking, and Unclear, a pop track with hit potential for its playfulness and relevance to teen life. Along with constantly performing, writing, and raising awareness for causes close to her heart, Victoria is finishing up her senior year of online high-school.
