Every year in Seville, Spain, La Feria de Abril kicks off the spring season two weeks of entertainment, arts, music, food, and wine after an extravagant celebration of Easter in the same city. For several days, Seville residents and people visiting the city gather under glowing lights and in the twirls of flamenco skirts to mark the beginning of the season. People of all ages dance to live music performances of some of the songs most synonymous with Andalucía, including sevillianas, bulerías, and tangos flamencos.

Madrid Spanish Taverna and A Través are excited to parter again this year to host the third-annual La Feria Roswell on April 22, 2023, starting at 3:00 p.m. and going on throughout the evening.

There will be dancing, singing, and cooking and plenty of VINO! during La Feria Roswell, with a grand event to celebrate this rite of spring in Spain and the two-year anniversary of Madrid Spanish Taverna in Roswell, GA.

In 2023, we are modeling this giant gathering with festivities in the parking lot of Madrid Spanish Taverna. In this one-of-a-kind event in Georgia, flamenco lovers enjoy live performances, dance and singing classes, and demonstrations of how to prepare Spanish dishes and drinks, while top-rated Madrid Spanish Taverna provides the food and beverages to create the ambiance that makes this a unique expression of culture. In addition, the event offers an experiential educational opportunity, as flamenco is presented in the context of a typical Spanish celebration.

3:00 p.m. Opening performance by flamenco students & professionals

3:30 p.m. Sevillanas singing and dance class.
4:00 p.m. Demo of Spanish recipes provided by Madrid Spanish Taverna
 Roving flamenco artists 
4:30 p.m. Performance by flamenco students  & professionals
5:00 p.m. Sevillanas singing and dance class
5:30 p.m. Rumba and sevillanas – live guitar and 
 singing and open dance floor for 1 hour
7:00 p.m. Demo of Spanish cocktail recipe by Madrid Spanish Taverna
8:00 p.m. Flagship performance featuring guest.
 artists and local professional artists
9:00 p.m. Despedida and invitation to La Feria ATLANTA 2024

Parking

Parking is very limited in the area surrounding Madrid. Visitors are strongly encouraged to arrive via rideshare or park at Roswell City Hall and then take a short walk to La Feria.
