The MSUFCU Backyard Bash Concert Series was created by the Share the Music Foundation to bring world-class talent to the Greater Lansing area for intimate and inspiring concerts.
Children age 12 and under are free as long as they are accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
This concert is held outdoors (weather permitting, may be moved inside due to rain as a last resort). Bring your own chairs or blankets - seating is on grass.
Seating is general admission — first come, first serve. Doors open at 6 p.m. Show starts at 7 p.m.
Food will be available for purchase from several local food trucks starting at 6 p.m. Drinks will also be available for purchase: pop, water, and beer and wine (for those 21 and older). You will need a valid ID to purchase alcohol.
No outside food or drinks are allowed.
All proceeds from the concert series will be donated to the MSU Community Music School to support their financial aid and tuition assistance programs.
International British crossover artist Twinnie, now based in Nashville has received critical acclaim from BBC Radio, People and Billboard. Her work as a philanthropist has been recognised by Forbes. Passionate about mental health within the music industry, her non-profit I Know A Woman contributed to standardization for therapy for artists in the pandemic within label and publishing deals.
In 2024, Twinnie became one of CMT’s Next Women Of Country, and had her ‘Lonely Long’ video premiered on a Billboard in Times Square, New York.
Jason Cross is a country rock artist who possesses the perfect blend of edgy style and country swagger. With a haircut that resembles a rockstar and the stage presence to match, Jason has created an undeniable brand for himself.
